I have the following qualifications:
- Advanced Diploma Naturopathy (PANT)
- Bodytalk Practitioner
- Reiki 1 and 2 level
- Soul Guide Sacred Mentor SGSM™ by Alana Fairchild, Licensed Practitioner
I believe it is my responsibility to provide you with the latest information tips and tools to help to support your wellbeing with diet and lifestyle ideas to use. I will deliver what I have promised in offering these services to the best of my ability, drawing on my knowledge, skills, insights, wisdom and life experience. I am not a mental or medical health professional. I am not a therapist. I do not diagnose disease states or prescribe medication.
I will do everything reasonably within my power to ensure that I have your informed consent to any treatment or course of action I propose, by explaining to you
- the nature of the treatment
- the expected benefits
- any material risks and side-effects
- any alternative courses of action available to you, and
- the likely consequences of no treatment
I will also ask if you have any questions, and answer your questions as clearly as I can.
I will not proceed with treatment until I receive your informed consent. In most cases, this will be given verbally, and I will get you to sign the program and/or record your consent in my treatment notes. Where more serious risks are involved, I may ask you to sign a consent form, or explicitly acknowledge by email that we have had this discussion, you have no further questions, and you consent to the proposed treatment or course of action.
I engage in ongoing professional development to keep my qualifications up to date and improve my skills. I also comply with the continuing professional education requirements of my membership with ANTA (Australian Natural Therapists Association), NHAA (Naturopaths and Herbalists Association of Australia) and IBA (International Bodytalk Association of Australia), and adhere to the codes of conduct maintained by these associations. I maintain a current First Aid certificate.
I am committed to only practice within the scope of my qualifications and will discuss referrals to other medical or mental health professionals with you as required. I maintain best practice risk management protocols by requiring all my clients to complete waiver forms or disclaimers, along with my intake form, and if your situation gives me cause for concern, I will require you to obtain medical clearance before we proceed.
Where I recommend herbs or supplements as part of a treatment plan, I only use products of the highest quality and effectiveness from a reputable manufacturer.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITY – Consultations
Before starting any new exercise, lifestyle or dietary changes check with your health professional and medical doctor first. This is especially important if you are on medication or have an existing disease or medical condition.
If you have any questions or concerns about anything I suggest, or any information I provide, it is your responsibility to be honest with me, ask me for explanations, conduct your own research, and consult your medical doctor or appropriately qualified health professional, so you can make informed decisions about what is best for you before proceeding.
I will provide you with my knowledge, resources, and experience to maximise your opportunity to achieve the results you are after, but it is your actions that will achieve those results. I do not cure, diagnose or heal you. Naturopaths cannot legally diagnose disease and cannot prescribe medication. I cannot guarantee that the treatment plan will be successful, because your results depend on a wide range of factors beyond my knowledge or control. Everyone is individual and can react differently. Above all, you have to be willing to make the commitment to change. This will require making an effort, as there is no such thing as a magical cure.
This also applies to my online courses and programs – if you do not do the work to complete the worksheets, create nurturing time for yourself and make space for yourself to relax and enjoy the meditations, you will not receive any benefit from the course. You can only get closer to your destination if you are committed to the journey.
The shifts that occur in Bodytalk, and Reiki sessions may be subtle, but they can also be huge. You might feel the need to release tears and sadness. You may feel flat and heavy. From my clients’ experience, most times, you will feel lighter, with more clarity, acceptance and relief, sometimes even feeling joy and very uplifted. Each person responds differently depending on what we worked with. I never know what the results will be or what is to be expected after a Bodytalk or Reiki session – it is completely unique for every person – so it is very important to come with an open mind. You definitely need to drink loads of water afterwards and make sure you are feeling grounded and in your body before leaving the session. If you are unsure or have concerns after your session, do not hesitate to call me. Leave extra time in your day so that you can be kind and gentle to yourself afterwards.
Follow any treatment program as explained, start slowly for the first week and ease into it with curiosity. Focus on observing your body’s response. If everything is okay, increase to the full dose shown on your program. Let me know if anything changes – especially if you experience a new health condition, begin a new medication or fall pregnant – and if you have any concerns or unexpected responses contact me, unless you have a serious or allergic reaction, in which case you should seek urgent medical assistance immediately. If you are experiencing mental health concerns or issues contact your mental health treatment team or get in touch with Lifeline or Beyond Blue. It is important that you use your common sense and make your own decisions and take full responsibility for your own health.
I can provide you with the benefit of my Herbs – but these need to be prescribed after a thorough consultation and health history including not limited to acute or chronic illnesses/health, medications, and allergies to anything. If you are planning to fall pregnant or breastfeeding please make sure you tell me. If you fall pregnant, please call me straight away so we can review your program. I can only guard against problematic drug/herb or food/herb interactions if you communicate honestly with me. Do not share your program or supplements with anyone else. Your treatment plan has been designed specifically for you and use by others could have unintended and severe consequences.
It is important that you return for any follow up consultation. This allows you to update me on your symptoms, including any changes you have experienced, and have your program updated. Staying on a program for a long time without adapting it to your changing needs can cause more problems even if you think it is helping. I only ever provide 2 repeat prescriptions for your own safety. Please do not attempt to self-medicate without professional advice.
If you are accessing one of my recorded meditations, please be sensible and do not meditate while driving, or while young children are relying on you for supervision.
I do not make any guarantees or warranties about the accuracy of any material displayed on this website, with the exception of any non-excludable consumer guarantees and other consumer protection provisions set out in the Australian Consumer Law. I am human and errors creep in despite the best of intentions. If you see something that doesn’t seem right, please let me know.
While I make all reasonable efforts to ensure that my services or products meet with the highest standards of best practice, if something does go wrong that is not a direct result of my negligence, misrepresentation or deliberate fault, you agree that, to the fullest extent permitted by law, I will not be liable for any damages whatsoever, including but without limitation to any direct, indirect, special, consequential, punitive or incidental damages, or damages for loss of use, profits, data or other intangibles, damage to goodwill or reputation, or the cost of procurement of substitute goods and services, arising out of or related to the use, inability to use, performance or failures of my website, any products or services purchased through it, or any material posted on it, irrespective of whether such damages were foreseeable or arise in contract, tort, equity, restitution, by statute, at common law or otherwise.
My services are primarily designed to assist stressed or busy women who are finding that the stress is starting to impact their physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health. This includes women going through transitional times, who may feel they have lost themselves, such as new mums, corporate women who have lost the balance of life/work, menopause, divorce, and large stresses.
You will get the most out of working with me if you are committed to keeping the lines of communication open and doing the work. Clients who achieve the most success are those who are excited to make a difference in their life, who understand that the process of change will include challenges, and who are willing to find solutions by working through these challenges. Those who maintain realistic expectations about the results they can expect are more likely to make progress than those looking for a miracle cure. If you have “tried everything and nothing has worked” it may be time to take an honest look at your own commitment to making a change. It has taken a lifetime to get to where you are, and it is likely to be a long journey to transform to where you want to be.
My services are not suitable for you if you are suffering from addiction or have severe mental health concerns. I may also not be able to assist you if your needs are beyond the scope of the services I offer.

I do not offer online consultations for anyone under the age of 18. As a result, I may request a copy of your photo ID, such as a driver’s license or passport, to confirm your identity before we begin working together. I may also require your next of kin contact details, and information about your location before we commence an online session, so I can ensure you receive emergency care if that becomes necessary during the consultation.
All online consultations are held via Zoom online conferencing software. If you have not used Zoom before, I highly recommend downloading it and checking your set up in advance so as not to delay the start of our consultation. You will require a device with a camera and microphone. You can download Zoom for computer here: https://zoom.us/download. It is also available as an app for iOS and Android. There is no charge. Please let me know as soon as possible if you are having trouble downloading or installing Zoom.
I will provide a link and password for you to click on at the time of our consultation. It is important to make sure that you are in a private, quiet space, so you won’t be disturbed and can speak freely during our consultation. After our session, I will create your program. I will then call you to go over your program, to make sure you understand what is involved and have an opportunity to ask any questions before giving informed consent to proceeding.
Then we can arrange for delivery or postage of your products, information, invoice and program. Payment can be made via credit card over the phone or online via net banking. I do not retain a copy of your credit card information.
If an online session is interrupted or we lose connection, if you fail to attend at the agreed time, or if an emergency arises that means I cannot be there, I will call you using the phone number that you provide to me in your booking link.
I do not video record our Zoom 1:1 Naturopathic or Bodytalk sessions. If you wish to record these sessions, please ask for permission at the start of the call and I will adjust the settings to allow that.
I will be recording our group session for my online courses and our meditation evenings. I will ask permission from participants before the group sessions commences.
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice (during business hours, Monday to Friday) should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows me to help someone else in the time that has been reserved for you.
Appointments that are cancelled or rescheduled without 24 hours notice will incur a cancellation fee of 25% of the service fee.
Missed appointments or those cancelled within 4 hours of the consultation time will be charged the full standard consultation fee.
I do not offer refunds if you change your mind about a consultation, so ask any questions and ensure this service is right for you before you book.
For my online courses, programs, workshops and meditation evenings, you may request a refund up to 1 week before the start date. No refunds are available after this time.
If you are prevented from attending by extreme circumstances beyond your control, please contact me to discuss the situation. I may offer a pro rata refund or reschedule to a later date, at my sole discretion.
No refunds are available on Gift Vouchers. Please note that Gift Vouchers expire 3 years after the date of purchase.
If you have any cause for dissatisfaction with my products or services, please contact me to discuss the issues so we can negotiate a mutually satisfactory solution.
I take my obligations under Australian Consumer law seriously and will do my best to address any issues that arise. However, even if there is a major problem, my liability is strictly limited to:
- replacing the goods or providing the services again, or
- if I am unable to do so within a reasonable time, paying the cost of having the relevant goods or services supplied to you again.
If we experience an internet connectivity issue for online services, I will reschedule to a suitably convenient time.
If you experience any difficulty with downloading or opening a workbook, please email me so I can resend it.
In the case of products if there is a defect, or the wrong item was sent, or minor damage occurred in transit, please email me a photo of the damage or wrong product and I will issue a refund.
Please remember that I do not guarantee that you will achieve any particular results from using my products and services. I do not claim to cure or heal anyone. The results you may achieve are dependent on a wide range of factors personal to you which are beyond my control. In rare cases, you may experience an adverse or allergic reaction to a product. It is important that you monitor your well-being closely when beginning a new course of treatment, follow the directions exactly, and seek medical assistance if you have any concerns.
