BodyTalk for Balance and Connection

Supporting Relaxation, Clarity and Self-Understanding with BodyTalk

Supporting Relaxation, Clarity and Self-Understanding with BodyTalk

BodyTalk is a whole-person approach that considers the connections between the mind, body, emotions and environment.

Designed to support wellbeing in an individualised way, each session is guided by the priorities that emerge at the time, creating space for greater awareness, self-understanding and connection.

Every session is unique. There is no pressure, no overthinking and no right or wrong way to experience a session — simply an opportunity to pause, reflect and reconnect with yourself.

One of the things I love most about BodyTalk is that I never know exactly where a session will lead. Together, we follow what is most relevant for you in that moment, which often makes our time together feel like an adventure.

BodyTalk sessions are available in Perth and online.

When Life Feels Overwhelming

Many women find their way here feeling overwhelmed by the demands of everyday life — a busy mind, a tense body, and a sense of running on empty, even when they're doing their very best to keep everything together. The truth is, there is often a reason you feel the way you do. When life has been busy, demanding or stressful for a long time, it's natural for your body to respond. What you're experiencing isn't a sign that you've done something wrong or that you're failing to cope — it may simply be your body's way of responding to everything it has been carrying.BodyTalk provides an opportunity to pause, slow down and reconnect with yourself in a supportive environment, without needing to have everything figured out.

The BodyTalk Cortices technique is often used as a gentle practice to support:

  • calm and relaxation
  • mental clarity and focus
  • emotional wellbeing
  • grounding and presence
  • whole-person wellbeing during times of stress and overwhelm

It only takes a few minutes to do on yourself.

Play the video to learn how to do it from the founder of Bodytalk John Veltheim.
