A gentle whole-person approach that supports relaxation, clarity and wellbeing

BodyTalk is designed to support whole-person wellbeing in an individualised way, creating space for greater awareness and self-understanding.

Every session is unique to you and your experience at that time, facilitated by me and guided by the priorities that emerge during the session.

No pressure, no overthinking — simply time and space to reconnect with yourself.

Our time together feels like an adventure, because I never know what we will work with.

BodyTalk provides an opportunity to pause, reflect and explore your experience in a supportive environment. It creates space to bring awareness to the thoughts, emotions, stressors and life circumstances that may be contributing to how you are feeling.

There is no right or wrong way to experience a session, and each person’s experience will be different.

Understanding Stress & Overwhelm.

Many women find their way here feeling the effects of ongoing stress — a busy mind, a tense body, and a sense of running on empty, even if they can’t quite explain why. Often, what’s showing up on the surface is only part of the picture. Beneath it, there can be layers of accumulated stress shaped by life, relationships, environments, emotions, thoughts, responsibilities, and the pace you’ve been keeping — all of which can influence how you feel physically, emotionally, and mentally.

The Cortices technique is often used as a gentle practice to support:

  • calm and relaxation
  • mental clarity and focus
  • emotional wellbeing
  • grounding and presence
  • whole-person wellbeing during times of stress and overwhelm

It only takes a few minutes to do on yourself.

Play the video to learn how to do it from the founder of Bodytalk John Veltheim.
